About
Brandon earned his Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Science from the University of Louisville in Spring 2020. He also received a minor in Environmental Analysis and a Certificate in Geospatial Technologies.
During his time at UofL Brandon conducted undergraduate research, with Dr. David Howarth and Dr. Jason Naylor, on the Urban Heat Island in Louisville.
He also worked at the Christina Lee Brown Envirome institute with Dr. Ray Yeager.
Presently, Brandon is pursuing a Master's in Geography from Auburn University. He is also a funded trainee in the NSF Climate Resilience Traineeship. He is currently working under the advisement of Dr. Chandana Mitra within the UrbanPRism lab at Auburn University. Brandon's current research is titled, Analyzing Climate Change and Extreme Weather Event Impacts on Human Migration and Vulnerability in the SEUS (2004-2018).
Brandon will continue his academic career in the Earth System Science PhD program at Auburn University.
